My favorite month is October, yes, rusty red and oboe!Tess Kincaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04889725786678984293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6330857254114484063.post-67031367808350885172009-05-29T18:17:41.812-04:002009-05-29T18:17:41.812-04:00Hello Lala,

As has been the case with her other works, I am now looking forward to the next. The Water's Edge will be out in August.

I will race to research the Couperin you've been listening to. I look forward to it. You may want to give Messiaen more of a shot. I agree that some of it is rather thorny. Some of it is gorgeous and exhultant, Canyon of the Stars etc...

It's raining here now and I'm enjoying it. Not much planned for the weekend. I hope yours is wonderful.

Best,

DavidAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064021788741350871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6330857254114484063.post-19372349651706370662009-05-29T17:28:54.051-04:002009-05-29T17:28:54.051-04:00mmm...july...sound of the radio?

At that time, I was mingling with people concerned with "musique concrète" in Paris so i tried to educate my ear listening to works of Boulez or Pierre Henry....mmm..not my cup of tea everyday (except of course, La Messe pour le temps présent)

What are you up to this week end? Cooking, partying ? Hope everything's ok in your part of the world
the best to you too (will email soon)
:-)My Castle in Spainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14572760890022593531noreply@blogger.com
