Did you love Inspector Sejer in Karin Fossum's novels?
Did you enjoy accompanying Blomqvist and Salander in their adventures
in Stieg Larsson's books?
Then there is little doubt that you should not miss
Camilla Lackberg's
The Ice Princess!
I just finished this wonderful Scandinavian police procedural and loved it.
It was particularly similar to
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
as it included a writer writing about a family's secrets,
as well as broaching the topic of sexual abuse etc...
I enjoyed meeting Patrick, the policeman & Erica the writer.
Watching them investigate crime
while their relationship develops
is a lot of fun.
I liked The Ice Princess so much that I ordered
Lackberg's The Preacher last night to tide me over until
Larsson's The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest arrives.
Callooh! Callay!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, to you, as well, David!
Thank you Willow. Wishing you all of Autumns best.

So glad to see you Lala. These books are all amazing. I think you'd like Bamboula a lot. Gottschalk's life was very colorful.
